DUBAI HEALTHCARE CITY (DHCC) Free Zone is the first free zone in the global market that specifically caters to the needs of businesses related to medical industry. The need to create such free zone resulted from a fast growing population in the Middle East.
In 2014 DHCC free zone welcomed nine (9) medical institutions and dozens of new companies.
DHCC free zone operates under umbrella of Dubai Creative Cluster Authority (DCCA). Center of planning and quality is supervising the quality of medical services that are being provided, qualification of medical personnel and licensing process of companies.
share capital requirement is AED 50,000 (USD 13,698). To register a clinic or any other medical institution share capital should amount to AED 300,000 (USD 82,192).

Dubai Healthcare City Free Zone has a requirement for all its member companies to submit audit reports on an annual basis. Any newly registered company has to appoint auditors from the list of registered ones.
Company’s license is due for renewal prior to its expiration date, otherwise, penalties for late renewal apply.
